Expected outcomes

  • HATICE will ensure that treatment of cardiovascular and other age-related diseases is better suited to the needs of older people.

  • HATICE will specifically address the issue of combined diseases occurring in a single older individual.

  • HATICE will answer the question whether an internet-based intervention can be used to optimise management of cardiovascular risk factors and diseases in the elderly.

  • If successful, HATICE could lead to lowering of health care costs.
